Online 8-Week MBSR 2 Program: Deeper Mindfulness

January 18 to March 7, 2024 (Thursday Evenings)

Deeper Mindfulness: Exploring Feeling Tone is an eight-week course developed by Mark Williams and colleagues from Oxford and Cambridge. It is designed for those who have already completed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) programs, and are interested in exploring mindfulness more deeply.

Online MBSR Intensive Practice and Teaching (IPT)

February 3 to March 10, 2024

MBSR Intensive Practice and Teaching (IPT) is the second formal training on the Global Mindfulness Collaborative Pathway to teach, providing a deeper dive into the MBSR curriculum’s form and essence and greater clarity to its intention, content and flow. True to its name, this training is an intensive immersion in MBSR that strengthens teaching skills and personal practice.

5-Day Online Mindfulness Meditation Retreat

March 22-27, 2024

This traditional insight mindfulness meditation retreat will offer silent periods of sitting and walking meditation as well times for practice discussions.

Each day there will be a talk and systematic meditation instructions on the four foundations of mindfulness that are embedded in lovingkindness. These teachings and practices will emphasize quieting the mind, opening the heart, and developing clarity, wisdom, and compassion; and foster the depth of practice.

Online 10-Week MBSR Essentials Training

April 25 to July 11, 2024

MBSR Essentials is the first step in MBSR Teacher Training Pathway. It offers a highly experiential exploration of the MBSR curriculum, cultivating evidence-based teaching competencies and understanding from the inside out. Whether you intend to teach MBSR or integrate mindfulness into your professional field in other ways, Essentials is a special opportunity to deepen practice. As we discover greater degrees of freedom in our own lives, we are able to bring the essential transformative elements of mindfulness to others in the service of minimizing harm and maximizing human flourishing.

Successful completion of all elements of the Teacher Training Pathway leads to Certification as an MBSR teacher by the Global Mindfulness Collaborative, of which the Centre For Mindfulness Canada (CFMC)  and Mindfulness Center at Brown University (MC@B) are members.

Online 8-Week MBSR Program

May 1 to June 26, 2024 (Wednesday Evenings)

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program is a highly respected program within the medical community for dealing with stress, pain, illness, and the demands of daily life. It was developed in 1979 by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Division of Preventative and Behavioral Medicine. MBSR is not an alternative to traditional or psychological treatments but is a complement to those approaches.

7-Day Online Meditation Retreat: Insight Inside Us

July 26 to August 2, 2024

This traditional insight mindfulness meditation retreat will offer silent periods of sitting and walking meditation as well times for practice discussions. The theme of this silent mindfulness retreat is how the Dhamma (Buddhist Psychology) informs MBSR and all Mindfulness-Based Approaches. Each day there will be a talk and systematic meditation instructions on the four foundations of mindfulness that are embedded in lovingkindness. These teachings and practices will emphasize quieting the mind, opening the heart, and developing clarity, wisdom, and compassion; and foster the depth of practice.
